Hi Jennifer & Cheryl,
!
The filly got here last night about 5 o'clock. Jim was awesome! He took her right to the boarding place since it was closer and a little easier to get to than the drop site (and she was the only one left in the truck).
We had hoped to back the truck right up to the barn but with the mud that plan didn't work out but Jim just jumped in the trailer and put a halter on her and lead her out. She was a little spooky getting out of the trailer but once in the barn she walked nice and calmly into her stall, let me pet her and seemed interested in the grain I had in my pocket.
I didn't notice any limp or tenderness in her shoulders though she did tend to keep her weight off her front left when she was standing still. I couldn't see any swelling but she wasn't cool with me touching anywhere below her elbows so I couldn't check to see if anything was warm and inflamed but I'm not worried.
SHE IS AWESOME! Better than I had expected with her confirmation and her coloring is remarkable. Her curious attitude, even with being in such a new and scary place makes me think her training will go easily and if that's the style of foal Wrangler throws I want him even more, LOL!
Thank you so much for being there and providing homes for these foals. I wish I had known of the quality of horse the PMU ranches were producing earlier as I would have started adopting horses from there much sooner.
Thank you too, for your patience, I'm sure you got tired of my constant emails. You and Cheryl are amazing people! Thank you! Thank you!
I will keep you updated on where I'm at with Wrangler. I know Terri needs space and I may just lose out on him since stuff keeps happening, but I will keep you updated and let you know the second I am able to adopt him. Thank you again, you guys rock!

Hi Jennifer & Cheryl,
I hope everything is going well for you guys. The Winchester filly has finally gotten a barn name: Chaos Kaylee. She is the sweetest thing, we are so happy with her. If you want to follow her progress or see updated pics go to and http://www.circlecranchoforegon.com/Horses.html click on her barn name for her 'blog'. She fits in great in the barn- she is being boarded at a fjord breeding ranch and is in the barn with the rest of the kids (quarantined still but she can hear them down the way). She has started to shed out and it looks like she is going to take after her daddy in coloring, which just helps her blend in with the rest of the fjords, LOL!
