The summer of 2009 we were asked to find homes for all 45 of the Lyster Quarterhorse mares, and their foal crop. All but 9 mares have been placed, and nearly all of the foals.
The Lyster's have asked us to pass on their most sincere thanks to everyone who found a place in their home and heart to give one of their broodmares a home.
Hopefully the mares and their foals will have wonderful new lives, and give their adopters many years of pleasure.
The last 9 mares have been put out to winter pasture. The Lysters have been looking for feed, and were able to purchase a bit more. They hope to keep the mares through winter instead of having to put them in an auction. Having made that decisioin they asked us to take them off the webiste today, November 30, 2009.
THERE IS STILL ONE REGISTERED QUARTERHORSE STALLION NEEDING A HOME. HE HAS NOT BEEN BRED, COULD BE GELDED AND MADE INTO A NICE RIDING HORSE.
