Hi Jenifer and Cheryl,

Just wanted to send a few pics and an update on 'Onyx' (used to be 'Jenny' #918 from the group of Percheron Mares you placed last year).
About 'Onyx':  Onyx is doing wonderful!  She never ceases to shock me with how far she comes each day.  Since January we really started working with her just about every day, and she is sensative to ground work, stands for the farrier (thank goodness cause her feet are horrible!), has let the vet give her an IV injection (she had a small bout of colic 2 weeks ago), and is just an angel to be around.  She had her baby on May 10th at 8:15pm, and I was there to deliver it.  Onyx was so good about letting me be in the stall with her, and do some imprinting with the baby!  The baby is named 'Grand Finale'  of course 'Finale' for short, but I figured this being her last baby it was appropriate.  Four of the pictures I sent are from the night she was born!  Mom and baby are both doing well, and baby could not be more friendly.  And to top it all off - they are identical in appearance!
About 'Finale':  She loves attention and will just about let you do anything to her - she was leading well the first week, and now lets us clean her feet, groom her, rub plastic bags on her, clip her, bathe her, towel dry her, she is truely an amazing baby!
Well, I know you two are always busy, so I won't ramble on, but I couldn't be happier with my decision to adopt these two!  I have had my eye on your sight and Nicole and Haley look pretty awesome too...  I have my hands full right now, but I will always check back with you first before purchasing another horse!
take care and thanks again!
